o.k. I have found it-if anyone else needs to know.
Click on the start /settings/system(in grey box)/power control/advanced(in grey box)
if On battery power: is checked uncheck it.

Recently bought this and am absolutely delighted with it,no more arguing with my wife Laughing Out Loud,but when I use it on the bicycle it shuts down after about 3 minutes and I have to switch it back on.
