I used the excellent HDTune to check the speed of my original USB disk just to check, and it was pretty slow reading - around 15mb/s.

Appears to be a couple of problems
1) More than around 4,500 in a file fails
2) I think the @ signs confuse it.

The files that worked are a 'simple' one line format.

Tried downloading Garmin - Other GPX and Other GPX - neither of them work

Not good!

The 'old' files that loaded OK took one line for each camera (wpt record) whereas the PocketGPSWorld files take 12 lines for each camera

can anyone with an HTC HD2 try this please? If CoPilot8 is running, then you try to launch Opera, it tries to start, then just goes back to the start screen. Internet Explorer does work.

thanks - cracked it with WinceMonitor. Just needed to set the baud rate to the same as destinator (19200) to get it to connect
