I have just migrated from ViaMichelin to TomTom and can assure you that their pre-loaded restaurant POIs included McDonalds, etc. |

Just to update you, a couple of days after my posting, TomTom Home updated itself and then, when the QuickGPSfix Data update ran, it ran without a hitch. No problems since. |
