I did the latest firmware upgrade last night without problems.
However when I used my Satmap today odd things where happening with Trail Up and North Up.
I usually use Trail up with the blue circle ... |

I use MM and have not had the trouble you mention.
I export the route/track as a gpx file and then import though SatSync. Works every time.
How are you exporting from MM and how do you import to Sa ... |

Since I did the latest upgrade dated 13/12/2010 the Active 10 no longer remembers the last known position correctly, seemingly placing me 10s of degrees further west each time it is switched on.

Just run Satsync while loading some gpx files and an upgrade made its self known as follows.

I used a bar bag for the batteries and resisted the idea of rechargeables as I wanted to use an easy to replace system although it did cost a few quid t ... |

Just tried "clear all" and the "off sd card" map has reappeared along with road names.
Not sure I appreciate the "upgrade", it is now MUCH slower scrolling and MUCH less smoot ... |

Is just me. 
I have installed the upgrade from the exe file with no problem but didn't and still haven't seen any instruction to "clear all". No road names have appeared.

Possibly because EGNOS/WAAS not available in China, ex-USSR, Iran, etc ...?

Just done the platform upgrade and as well getting the odd extra feature it also seems to cure the trip log setup freeze, at least it hasn't happened since I did the upgrade.
