I've managed to TomTom 5 running on a Medion MD95900 / 200 (from Aldi) - here are the steps that worked for me.

Sound advice, but save half of the $30 and use Backup Manager.

Oh nearly forgot, you need to also make sure you've got a tomtom folder on your storage card if you haven't then just create a blank one.
