I have a MIO 168 and recently got TT5.1 (was using TT3 for the 6 months)

I never lost the sat signal once with TT3 not even in the middle of London surrounded by tall buildings or when it was hamme ...

Ah

It doesn't display the device until it has picked it up again after starting Navigator.
This was instantaneous in version 3 but takes 20 odd seconds in version 5.1 (big step forward there then ...

forgive me if this has been done before but searching just gets me all the people who are having trouble setting up the GPS

I have no trouble setting it up and getting it working but it won't hold ...

Upun further investigation the outcome is the same with or without the gap.
Strangely that didn't work yesterday (hence the post)

when you put a space it looks like it's automatically removed by the software. In fact it appears as though it knows the space is there even if it doesn't show it.

Thanks to the above I now have full postcodes working.

however It doesn't seem to accept postcodes that are single digit

eg CM2 7PY (instead of say CM13 7PY)

I have tried CM02 7PY but t ...
