| The post about re-booting is a good one! Delete the problem device first though, and then re-boot as suggested with the ttg powered up & connected to the usb port. |

Delete the device in device manager. ( one with the error)
Unplug the usb wire (at the computer end).
Power the TTG with the mains/charger lead.
reconnect the usb lead to the computer.

Are you absolutely sure there is no drive showing in "my computer"?
I wasn't too sure myself how the Tomtom would show up, but I think it showed up as a "device with removable storage"

Why not remove all the voices except english? That will free up room for the safety camera POI database as well.
