Simon1. In case the 'sucker stops sucking', just keep a short lanyard (elastic) round the mirror arm and attached to the holder. Won't have so far to fall then.
I've found that, for me, the best position for the iCN520 is to mount it just under the RH side of the rear view mirror. This gives:
