I had problem's getting 'spoken warnings for POI alerts' to work, still had Cow and Cuckoo sounding instead of the new phrases.
I found if you use POIExtend available from Ray Flanagan's site

Thanks Peter and Mike, have tried what you have said but still will not work, have reinstalled TT5 and spoken alerts, still the same. Help |

I have a ipaq h1930 with TomTom Navigator 5.000. all works fine, I have downloaded 'spoken warnings for POI alerts' but can not get it to work, still have Cow and Cuckoo sounding instead of the new ph ... |
