I went onto the App Store this morning and brought the TomTom UK & Ireland maps for £ 31.99 and I think the standard price is £ 49.99.

Quite possibly, the file you need to re-name is in the Western_Europe map folder and is called:
cphoneme.dat
Which you rename to:
cphoneme.old

To get Home to offer you the map again, got o the downloads directory:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\TomTom\HOME\Downloads\complete\map ....and DELETE (or move somewhere else) the ... |
