no the demo trip is from having no sat lock to start with - you program your route say london to manchester start it - it then gives you all the info you need inc ETA say 4 hrs to go but if you leave ...

this seems weird as the unit has been working fine but when you do a dummy route with the demo run it starts fine with voice and little pictures of the next turns etc but say the trip would take 2 hrs ...

when i had my unit it never had cameras on it that had been there for 3 years or more - i now have a navman and ive loaded the camera database into it off here and so far every single one is on it 10/ ...

bit late now as i took it back - i now have a navman 510 which is bang on + i can pick my POI

ive loaded all the cams eg gatso/redlight specs etc but i never saw the truvelo cams is that listed too?? also what are the pocketgps_continental.* cameras???? where will i find the truvelo camera da ...

after taking back my bluemedia pna with built in speed camera locations from makro (which was pants!!) i am looking at getting the navman 510 - should i stay clear of e-bay as these units go for £250 ...

how did you get it to speak as i set the distances to 50 and then 100 but i still get no warning - i took the unit back to makro today for a refund back to square 1 for me

If we want for a voice alert then we did to do this below, Sound like a lot of bother, I too will take mine back. Not happy as this voice alert sould be in the unit already loaded.
