Why not consider Mapsonic for palm. I have it on my T2 and with the latest Mapsonic update it looks great. Not everyone is a fan of mapsonic but I find that it works well and looks good. It is around ... |

Just found a new patch for mapsonic. It looks great: night vision, 3D, GPS speed and a new icon menu.
Just one thing is that it installs in french but all you have to do is to change the default lang ... |

Just an update on the NiMH.
I have completed an initial road test. I made 6 journeys, two of which were long distance and I had the 4100 primed for several minutes before each journey.

There is a choice. I have just purchased a navman 4100 with separate software (mapsonic) for my T2. I could have also had the tomtom or emtac devices but with the navman at least the battery is replac ... |

I have just put some 800mAh NiMh batteries in my new 4100. It works fine. I have not been on a road test yet so I cannot say how long the battery life is yet. What I can say is that I get a 7-8 sattel ... |
