Well I've just done a 34 mile round trip to drop a friend off. I normally wouldn't use my sat nav setup, as I know the way etc, but thought it would be a good test.

The app no longer puts up text ...

I have faith. Since I passed my test I’ve used cameralert on tomtom and then phone and recommend it to everyone I know when the subject comes up

Should the app now appear in notifications and background app refresh? or is that automatic with this ios 11?

I'm going to do an uninstall and then a clean install of the app as well.

I waited till they announced the app was ios11 compatible. Then updated. So I followed advice.

Now, will have to wait to get the t working fully

I know they’ll sort it, but by god the alternatives are useless.

Btw I can confirm it didn’t work in background for me today. Went usual route past cameras and no notification when in background

Updated App

1: took a long time in comparison with old one to lock onto GPS - but this has now worked.

2: Map zoom has worked for me

3: No sign of the app in my notifications settings.

Same here.

No gps lock. Have checked background app refresh area. There’s nothing there.

I have also checked location services. It seems to be on always.

Supposed to be driving 300 mile tr ...

Can I store music on a Micro SD card in this item, so if I connect it to my stereo - I can get all the instructions and warnings through the stereo in my car, as well as music.
