Assuming TTGo behaves the same as TT on Pocket PC, when asked for the road, just put in the name of the town/village again and it will take you to the approximate centre.

The PC-Mobile cables are a nice neat solution.

I use the Unniross 2300mAh cells as well, but I also carry a set of Lithium non-rechargeable cells, in case I get completely unstuck and discharge both sets of NiMHs

Memory Map can download tracklogs, but what I want is to look at the raw data, so I can see:
Time, Lat, Lon, etc
Any ideas anyone?

Odometer is the total distance you have travelled using the unit.
The Trip Odometer is how far since the last reset
Current distance is how far to the next waypoint.

Although IIRC, the GPS specification states that velocity on a GPS is accurate to 5mps, which is approx 11mph.

Check under Properties-->Advanced
Scroll Down to "Map View" and ensure that under "Route" it says "Dashed in Foreground" rather than "Hidden"
