Same thing happens on my Ipaq 3850, doesn't matter what you set backlight to TomTom changes it to power off, I can then get it to stay on by removing power several times and then it stays on, but wont ... |

The TomTom site does say tht it works on the Ipq 3870 and the only difference is the bluetooth on the 3870, which TomTom want you to have so that they can sell you all the extras.

Yep, they all work on Navigator 5 on the PPC, but the .vif and .bmp files don't seem to make any difference, works with and without them. |

Don't bother I have tried it on my 3850 and it does not work. It did start Navigator once, but usually sits in the tray and does nothing. |

Teece, the .wav files I use are the same ones as Darren has provided links to, I find Mike the clearer of the two and it is easy to distinguish from TTN voice.
