OK, assuming you've made the NEW backup, have you tried putting everything from "Backup #1" back onto the TomTom?

Internal memory was not big enough for all but selected all the Folders everything ...

If you select a computer voice and click on 'test', do you hear nothing? Is your unit providing any other sounds? Under 'voice settings', do you have 'disable voice'? And is it checked?
