it works now. DUn that is. To make it work, you need to DELETE all the current networking and BT shortcuts, and all network connections and start from scratch.

I still can't connect to by mobile phone via BT to use dial-up networking. Can anyone else ?

Could people please post experiences of the BT update here and whether it cures their problems ?

... which is a shame as its a good value unit and the GPS works fantastically.

Bluetooth DUN was one of the main reasons I purchased this unit over others. I hope it is just software and not a hardware fault. If it is not fixed within the next month I will return the unit.

don't spend too much time on this. the bluetooth dial-up support on the mio a201 is broken. According to a MIO support person, a new ROM will be available within 2 weeks with a fix (lets hope so!).
