Have just been playing around with the navman 510 I can set up a destination using the pre loaded poi but not my poi (the ones i have loaded) has anyboby else had this problem? or is it me?

I have had a search on the web for info on gps but few sites seem to answer my quaestions.
1 I thought that gp sattelites were geo stationary apparently not - why not ? would it not be more sensible ... |

| As an update to our problem we exchanged the navman 510 for another, this one is considerably quicker in a fix so it would appear that the first 510 was faulty in some way.As a newbie on this subject ... |

Chris you may find you have an athermic (UV) coated windscreen. See if it fixes any quicker by holding it outside the car. If it does, you will need a re-rad or change your windscreen/car.
