errors are common ,sometimes the errors are corrected quickly and sometimes they are damn slow ,it's not always tomtom at fault as they depend on the map makers to get things right ..it's something yo ... |

You have a corrupt device I am afraid. There should be NO files on the device with anything other than A-Z,a-x,0-9 in the file name. Plus the odd underscore and hyphen.

TomTom Home does check the contents of the device. So shouldn't be any problems using two computers. I have done it with my 730 before now and it didn't break anything

No need for 7-ZIP or anything else. Windows XP can read ZIP files all by itself. I have never used any third party zip programs to read or create basic zip archives. |
