if you downloaded the map from tt it will be in your documents folder on c drive, tomtom/home/download and it will be in a cab file. Unless your pc has been reformatted, you deleted it or your pc go's ...

No ... I'n using HOME 2.
I did try, and it first installs the version 6, once the application is installed, I need to "Update the device" and it foinds version 7.

So that's a 2 steps procedure.

Hopefuy I first did a backup before formatting the SD card, so now TT home allows me to reinstall the maps from the "desktop" (computer) ...

But what if I didn't had any backup, or if my SD card wa ...

It is still there on the tomtom web site under my "orders" and "products", but not under "My maps" anymore ...
