Tried what U suggested and it worked (ie EUpoi) only trouble I then went and transferred them to the harddrive, and this worked.
Now I had UKpois followed by EUpois, which meant I had to scroll thro' ...

Thanks for posting this; as I was having the same problem
My technique was to go to MAPs and set the location on the map.
It worked but better the way U have described.

I have followed this discussion with interest.
I'm new to SatNav, and as an owner of the 250W concerned about the 257 category issue.
Therefore my answer would be to have have 2 SD cards - 1 for UK ...

Does the 257 limit apply to all categories i.e. Main and sub categories?
At the moment I have 1,000 POI files within 13 Categories.
Is this OK to load onto my satnav?
