I agree but sometimes it's not easy to do especially with these average speed cameras on a busy dual carriageway.

I'm currently using a Samsung Note 4 running Android version 6.0.1 if that's any help.
I do usually hit the report button but I can't always be sure as I just stab at the screen when it crashes so ... |

Yes, that does work sometimes but it also seems to make the screen less sensitive so usually hitting the zoom out button is more likely to force a redraw of the screen but it's a small target to hit. ... |

Have you tried tapping the speed readout to see if it pops up. It should do.
