Planning to go to Mallorca soon. I have Garmin Drivesmart 65. Do I need to set the country to Spain or can I leave it to UK?
Any other changes do I need to make apart from change it to Kilometres? |

Very odd !
Plan B - use the POILoader option to remove all existing camera files, then go again.
Tried that and same old 2020 date! Very strange!! |

Yes, POIloader, when it writes out and does a replace seems to maintain the existing file properties.
Tried giving it a different name before uploading and the same old date comes up! |

Lifetime according to Garmin. Following the Microsoft lifetime getout clause to get you to replace the unit when they decide.

The likely reason for the map update fail is that Garmin servers are reported to be out.
They've been hacked so have shutdown servers.
That explains not being able to update maps. |

But do you really want to simulate a long route? If I simulate anything it's generally a short section only.
Sure. I found two to three miles seemed to take ages! I guess I am impatient! |

Don't think so. Nowhere near as useful as it could be. And probably slower than you would actually drive the route,.

I don't know as I don't have a 65. Is the 65 purported to have a sim slot? If so, what the hell for.
If it comes with speed cameras, they will be Cyclops ones. You can disable them and install PGPSW ... |
