Mike,
I believe that if you drag or copy this to your PC from Satsync (don't export) you will find it is a gpx file of the snail trail that has been collected whilst the Active 10 has been turned on ... |

I always take the elevation from the GPS. I have found it to be very close to the spot heights/contours on the maps (contrary to Satmap's statement) whereas taking elevation from the map is next to u ... |

My understanding is that the (eg) 'My Track 9 raw.gpx' is indeed the breadcrumb trail. Copying to my PC allows me to import it into Memory Map as a Memory Map 'Track'. Within the A10, converting tra ... |

The total ascents and descents each day just don't make any sense at all...totally way out.
I think there are two issues. I find that the A10 GPS altitude is closer to the actual height than is t ... |

I had heard that the height grid was very wide, which explains why I can stand next to a trig point and be 10s of metres out when using altitude from maps. Consequently I always use altitude from GPS ... |

Martin. Call Satmap as others have suggested. I had your problem, and the Satmap folks re-tuned the aerial free of charge. It now gets a fix just as quickly as my Garmin 60csx, and holds the signal ... |
