I've got a Holux 236 and it's a cracking receiver inside and out, also from within your glove box !
More expensive than my old BT-77 but worth the extra pennies :D :D

I have a 6680 and BT GPS and I find it a really fickle set up.
Sometimes they connect perfectly first time, sometimes it asks for the code but more often it does'nt and sometimes I have to switch one ...

it will draw your trackline in yellow, you can superimpose this onto an OS map, but you will need to download the map first.
You can also use it as a direction finder.

I bought this software for a few quid. It works well with my bt bluetooth and is great for walking so I'm sure you could use it off road.

I have the same set up as you. I got fed up with using the Nokia Suite and now transfer data using a £10 usb card reader, which works MUCH better and is a damn site easier.
