I'd seen that but did not think it relevant as a Lexar 256mb is in the jacket and works fine.
Don't think it's a faulty jacket more likely a driver issue, no sign of anything helpful o ... |

Doh,
Knew I'd left something off the post. It's a Silver Slider expansion jacket.
Have just tried the card in a 2210 and it reads/writes/deletes fine.
Jacket problem then?? |

As per the title my Ipaq 3970 does not accept the compact flash card and asks for the device driver name.
Is this just a problem with older Ipaqs and the faster cards or does anyone know of a fix/ ... |

Yes BT is stable enough, a lot of us here use it.
I use TomTom on an Ipaq 3970, but would recommend that you use fast SD or Compactflash memory over standard. |

I have used the adapter to power both my Ipaq 3970 and the BT308 many times. On longer trips especially as the PDA is set to keep the display lit longer than when running on battery.

My 256mb Lexar 32x SD card arrived today. I was using CF for the maps and a test route on CF was 55 secs, only 30 secs on the new SD card.
Had moved to CF as the Sandisk 256mb SD card was too slow ... |

I think the consensus of opinion is that the rom ugrade could update registry settings which a restore could then overwrite.

Tried the software.
Foolishly let it tidyup my registry and stopped my Ipaq synching. Good job I use Sprite backup all restored now. Done many backups but this was first restore. |
