That's my fault for the confusion. Database download users can choose to omit France from the download. CamerAlert app users can't as yet but they do have the option to delete the app at the port and ...

We are looking at such a solution for our CamerAlert apps, but, currently, the best we can do is allow those who wish to take the risk, the option of including French data.

For CamerAlert it's a simple matter to delete the app in its entirety and re-install once back in UK. And it can be done over the air.

Are you going to remove the French cameras from the database or change them to "Dangerous Zones" or wha ...

So it would seem ok to have warnings of dangerous zones.
If we need to know when we enter and leave a "zone dangereuse" will it be possible to change the database to reflect this?

Remember that downloading the new version of the database without the French cameras is not enough to comply with the new French law.

You will also need to physically remove the old French data, ot ...

The French data will be removed when the user updates the database. There are no changed or removed files, just the content of the files.
