If this has not fixed the problem, it could be that TTN is running, if this is the case, sync will be greyed out.
See the release notes for v5.0.2 which stats sync with TTN running has been removed ... |

The other possibility with this is that in v5.0.2+, checkPOInt will not sync when TTN is running (to avoid file locking errors according to the release notes).

Is TTN running? If so, it will be greyed out.

After (re)installation, CheckPOInt needs to know which maps TTN is using. If you've not 'told it' then the Sync will be greyed out.

too have the same problem. I tried the 'fix' described in this thread but this did not work so I tried to locate the file that holds user added POI's (checkpoint.OV2).
I removed that and it worked ... |
