Managed to update to 2.40 and put the single file speed camera database on it.
Ever since then, when i've plugged it into the computer, it turns on, giving the screen indicator that it's plugged in ... |

It shouldn't need to be plugged in when you restart your machine. Once your machine has been restarted it should auto detect when you conect it to the usb lead

One thing for anyone else with the issue. Make sure the Garmin is plugged in as you reset the machine, otherwise it's not picked up as the usb's are reinstalled. ... |

Just tried your suggestion, but no joy i'm afraid.
The PC doesn't even acknowledge there is a USB device attached like it normally does....
