I'm in a similar position. Got the TT3 Euro maps, and have now switched to TTG.
When I get time I'll buy an extra SD card and try it out and see what happens… but I have read somewhere that they ar ... |

1) Planning long routes (eg Scotland to Devon, or throuogh France or Spain).

Windows enterprets them as file fragments... given their prefix (dataxx.chk) you can probably guess that they are important.

Looking at the ZIP file… it seems as if TTG users should delete all the *.wav and *.txt files.
However, I'm not sure if there is anything else we need to remove, or as before do we just copy the OV ... |

Just switched to a Sandisk 1GB card recently... no probs so far.
I'm using a Sandisk Ultra II…. No problems, and bloody quick... :D (noticeable on long journey calculations) |
