I too have noticed using camera alert via Waze on iPhone 8+ ios 13.2.2 that the specific camera voice alerts are absent while driving - settings are always throughout.

| only problem I find with Waze on car screen isthat it does not display my actual speed - but I have set the controls to do this. Use my garmin in tandem to show actual speed |

| Why not put Waze on your iphone - it will dispaly on your car screen or phone and you can download the speed data base from here direct to phone as camera alerts |

I use Waze & have run it at the same time as my Garmin nuvi 2597lmt.
The Waze app seems to update for problems on the road faster than the Garmin and re-routes quicker too.
Excellent app.
