Just bought new car with Android Auto built-in which replaced my previuous car (which had TomTom built-in and supported the PGPSW cameras). The new built-in satnav doesn't support 3rd part POIs and ne ... |

As I do a lot of travelling, as well as using my built-in TomTom, I usually have Google maps and traffic running on my smartphone too and the main difference I see is that Google seems to lag more tha ... |

I bought a Mazda 6 with a built-in TomTom NB1 satnav. The functionality is a bit like a cross between what you find on a 1005 LIVE and a 940 LIVE. For just navigating, for me it's far better than any ... |

There was a fair bit of interest when they were first released, but most people (including me) who managed to get to trial one found them pretty underwhelming. Sure, they looked nice and the speed of ... |

I think the new range is a long way from being their "premium" product. I was fortunate to be able to try one for a few weeks and although some nice UI features, I decided to stick with my 1005 for th ... |

I agree, although for me, there were just enough positives to usually warrant splashing out on the newer version (just!).

Having borrowed one for a few days, I genuinely think the new units are a DEgrade from the older range (1000, 1005, etc) and the numbering reflects that. Although the layout is pretty, it seems slower ... |

One of my main routes to work was closed for a month during the snow (A6024 out of Holmfirth). TomTom showed it open all that time, even for two weeks after I reported it to them. |
