On another car based forum I frequent, the subject of mobile cameras that capture the rears of vehicles (ie bikes) has appeared.

This functionality could be usefull after all to warn you they stil ...

Is this a new function as I don't remember this before, although i haven't used it on this particular route before. Should it not warn me 1km on other side of bridge rather than when I pass under it ?

There are indeed 2 icons showing but I have mobiles at 70mph warning me at 1km out which it does. The second warning comes 1km later when I pass the location.

Or would it be a case of marking the end of each road with bumps as a POI and then letting TomTom recalculate when you drive past.

I am a newcomer to Satnavs so all tips and advice is welcome.

I have a feeling the answer is no as I can't find any mention. But it is always worth asking the experts.

I'm NOT an expert but I would think that the only way to handle that is to create a poi cat ...
