Do mobile vans work at night and do average speed cameras such as those in roadworks work at night ?

On another car based forum I frequent, the subject of mobile cameras that capture the rears of vehicles (ie bikes) has appeared.

This functionality could be usefull after all to warn you they stil ...

I guess I'll have to put up with it.

Thanks for all the answers guys, presumably one way around it is to have show only on route on, and the problems that it entails.

Is this a new function as I don't remember this before, although i haven't used it on this particular route before. Should it not warn me 1km on other side of bridge rather than when I pass under it ?

There are indeed 2 icons showing but I have mobiles at 70mph warning me at 1km out which it does. The second warning comes 1km later when I pass the location.

I noticed recently, while travelling from Reading to Taunton on M4 & M5 that while the mobile cameras (mainly on bridges) were announcing correctly. They were also announcing again just after I ha ...

Or would it be a case of marking the end of each road with bumps as a POI and then letting TomTom recalculate when you drive past.
