Just paired mine earlier today with no issues at all - very straight forward.

If you are after just full postcode search and not interested in GPS location destinations, then don't exclude the TomTom Rider - it will fit in with your requirements as far as you have outlined them ... |

You can use a larger SDCard in the Rider - which means once you buy the seperate maps (at additional cost thanks to TomTom's greed on that side of things) then you can load them on the SDCard and just ... |
