It was the BT connection that used the inbuilt speaker, even with the aux connected it still output to the kit speaker.
Thats what threw me, I thought it would, as it did, use the speaker as standa ... |

Your quite right Dennis, the car kit is connected via the socket next to the usb power input, to the aux input on the car radio, and while it plays songs or tomtom instructions, during a call I get z ... |

Thanks for the reply Dennis, I did tweak the volume on the kit, when it was acceptable quality wise, it was too quiet and I was only doing 40mph (Honest), on the London car park.

My Mapsettings.cfg always gets overwritten with the default. All I do is after updating maps I open "Operate My Go" within TomTomHome, add or edit a favourite and save it.
Worked every time for me ... |

Not sure if there is a way to change the drive letters on the tom tom, but a good rule of thumb is the last drive alphabetically, will be your sd card, so if your offered j or k then k is your card.

I " SO FAR" do not have a problem with this, all I do is "Operate My Go" in tomtomhome go to my favourites, add or edit a favourite and all works ok.
At least you will have the favourites up to the ... |
