Not sure if anyones still watching but got the TOMTOM working again, 2 IC's had been damaged on the PCB, swapped em and it works fine.
Off to get some maps and am sorted  |

Have a run through the menus and preferences. One of the options is to turn the screen upside down! Tap the button and it will be fine.

Connected it to Tomtom home as well and it now connects to it, it started downloading alot of files and restarted.
Still the Maps screen is upside down. |

The only place to get one is from TomTom, phone 0845 161 0009 Mon to Fri, 9am to 6:30pm.I don't think that is totally correct.

GO300 is now 4 years old and only works with an SD card. Without it, you've got a paperweight. The only place to get one is from TomTom, phone 0845 161 0009 Mon to Fri, 9am to 6:30pm.
