Communication 'seems' to be working now, turned it off, switched it back to ST mode, at most in the GPS status window I get 2 grey bars of 12 which I assume is satellites, correct?

Hmm switched it to XT mode and it seems to be talking, I thought ST mode was for the car better etc? Is it that crap it can't pick up a signal in the garden with no coverage and direct access to a cle ...

Ok done what you said but still no joy..

The Bluetooth light flashes away like a goodun, pulse on the iPaq, constant fast flash on GPS unit. Still no green light on the GPS unit.

under active connections for bluetooth it shows under outgoing but not ingoing, should it? Under status it says sent 0 bytes received 0 bytes should it say more?
