Hi Mike. MapSettings.cfg was the the name I was trying to think of. This was the file on my TT One, but it doesn't exist on the SD card for the Carminat Live. |

The hibernate setting dictates what happens when you turn the unit off. It either goes straight to off or it goes into deep sleep for n hours before turning off completely.

Sorted. It's a bit odd though. I only have UK and Ireland mapping, so don't need to update Dutch postcodes. Maybe why the Home update failed. |

I am surprised the performance was so bad. It may be a slow/poor quality card, or one only just big enough to hold your maps. I would suggest that you have Satmap try again.

Have you been playing with the hidden menu in the about screen? There is an option there which I believe makes an image of the device firmware. Could this be what you are seeing. |
