Well couldnt resist really, saw it,fell in love with it and bought one!
This is a very new review at the moment my GO is on it`s first charge, not used it yet,not even switched it on.
But it really does look the business. The mount is a brilliant piece of kit adjusting to every angle for the perfect view.
As this is my first Sat Nav of any kind i must say that upto now i`m VERY impressed by Tom Tom and especially the GO. Being a complete novice whose computer literacy is average i was a bit concerned that a PDA with Sat Nav would be a bit difficult to set up and use so i went for a GO because it`s supposed to be easy.
Easy!! you wouldnt beleive how easy it is.It really is a case of charge it,stick the card in,turn it on,tell it where you want to go and GO!! all this is via the instruction poster you get with it by the way!
So all seems as promised from Tom Tom.
My ONLY gripe is the fact that as it`s one of the first in the UK they havent managed to get supply of the carry case so it`s NOT in the box. Although there is a card appologising for this and a site address you register you GO`s number and they keep you informed and automatically send you one when they have them, end of summer they tell me.
So if you`re thinking of buying one, GO on...............it`s great!
I bought mine from www.totalgps.co.uk. After much looking around, have to say they`ve been fantastic, they matched a price and it was here the next morning! Very impressed and 5 stars to Nanette at Global GPS thanks and well done!

I ordered one this morning at 8.30 from GPS Warehouse as the web site said it was in stock. (wanted it for tomorrow)
I got an email confirmation of order, but by 1 o'clock no shipping confirmation so I called them and they told me they had no stock and weren't expecting any for a few days.
I cancelled the order and was going to order from NavCity after lunch.
I popped into Dixons at lunchtime and asked if they had stock of them.
The guy checked the system and it said they had 2. He went into the back and came out with one.
I asked how much and he said £499, I told him that I was going to order one for £444.43, he said he could do it for £439.
I always resist DSG (Dixons,Currys,PC World) but couldn't on this occassion.
Its the best price I have seen and no carriage charge.

We did experience a stock control issue with the stock availability from 10:00 until 10:30am on Friday which affected only a couple of products, unfortunately TomTom GO was one of the products that showed one in stock when it wasn't. This problem has now been resolved.
For anyone wanting to order we are taking back orders and expect stock in shortly!
