Is there anywhere in the UK where you can buy all the maps on a CD Rom. I only have a dial up internet connection, and the thought of downloading 100 MB or so turns me off

Here is one such place. Check that the maps are the latest version, though.

This European CD contains the older maps, and it is two map releases back from our current release. This was the map set that had problems concerning the UK, including the "data hole" around Northamptonshire and incomplete motorways around London.
This product has been withdrawn from the Mapopolis website, and there are no current Western European maps on CD. However, the new two-CD set of US/Canada maps is now entering the market chain... _________________ Mapopolis support |
