I have a lot of POIs that I had on a previous TT and have downloaded updated ones from this site but when I go to add them they are not available.
What am I doing wrong? |

Not showing in the list of POIs that I can add to my device, yet they are in the same folder as the ones that I can install. |

So you added some to the XXL already and new ones are failing? How are the new ones different? _________________ Dennis

The ones that I have downloaded from the TomTom site (and can install) are in Zip format whereas the ones from this site are .ov2, the same as those from my old TT. |

Did you install the ones you downloaded from TomTom by using TomTom Home, or by using Windows Explorer? By which method did you install POIs on your previous TomTom? _________________ Dennis

From your earlier post... TowelIan wrote: | they are in the same folder as the ones that I can install. | ..... I presume you do know how to use Windows explorer, because you can see the new POIs in a folder.
To instal the new POIs, you copy the OV2 and matching named BMP files and paste them into the map folder on your XXL (that's the map folder called the named of the map, e.g. Europe, or United Kingdom & Republic of Ireland). _________________ Dennis
