Hi,
after much hassle trying to get my ipaq 2210/Tomtom Navigator 3/Rikaline X-7 working any way useable, I have now got the following icons in the Program screen that I would like to delete:
3 Checkpoint 3.2 icons (which I have removed as it was causing the gps bt connection to freeze)
1 Tomtom Navigator icon (I have 2, but only want one!)
How do I do it?????? My Psion series 5 was so much more straightforward to use!
Many thanks, Nik |

If you want to remove the icons from the 'Programs' screen you could try it through Active Sync.
From the PC desktop go to:
My computer > Mobile Device> My Pocket PC > Windows > Start Menu > Programs
There you will see all the icons. _________________ Ian.

Cheers icsys,
I've sussed it now thanks to HP eServices!
"This is with reference to your e-mail regarding deleting program icons on your iPAQ.
Please follow the steps given below to delete the program icons:
1. Tap Start, Programs and File Explorer icon.
2. From the Programs drop down menu found at the top left corner of the iPAQ screen select My Device.
3. Tap Windows, Start Menu, Programs.
4. Now, tap on the program icon you want to remove, a pop up menu appears, select Delete option from that to delete that program icon."
Sorted! |
