Cannot see any POI's downloaded onto my TT XL Live POI Menu. Have done this numerous times on other TT units but not working on this one. ov2 and bmp files were added to map folder on device. Any ideas please? |

Are you putting the POI Files in the Folder named map, or in the Currently used Map Folder? It could be called United Kingdom & ROI, or something similar. _________________ Richard

Yes, the POI files are in the currently used map folder: W&C Europe. All other POI files are in this folder including the ones I can see. |

Can you check how many ov2 Files you have on the unit. I don't know the limit for your device, but there is one. _________________ Richard

Hi, Only 14 including safety cameras. When I download POI's from TomTom Home posted by TT community I have no problem, its just the POI's from Pocket GPS World that will not show on the device. Device details: App 9.430.890926.2, OS 842337, Map Europe_West v890.4222 |

I'm intrigued by the fact that your POIs are in the folder W&C Europe, yet you are using a map called Europe_West.
Do you have a folder named Europe_West, or do these in reality have the same name? _________________ Garmin DriveSmart 50 LMT-D |

The map folder in the file structure on the device is called Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB;
Europe_Western Zone in TT Home; Europe_West on device:preferences:version information |

Hi all, Found another directory called Europe_West and added POI files into that and all now working OK. I am confused why there should be two map folders when I only have one map on the device. But thanks for inadvertently pointing me in the right direction. Even TomTom missed that one. |

Your original map was Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB.
Now that map is too big to fit into 2GB, you are forced to install one of the zoned parts of it (eg Europe_West), but Home often leaves the original folder behind. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |
