Tom Tom XL V2 - Direction up in 2D view?

I have just purchased a new XL V2 and am unable to get the 2D view into the travel direction.

No problem with 3D but i would like to have the map adjust to my direction of travel. Searched all the TT help topics to no avail.

Any ideas please.

Sorry, it's not available on that model.

All the models with a tiny "2" after the model name have limited features compared to the originals.

I have the XXL - I upgraded to 9.400 two weeks ago and the only 2D option was north at the top.
However... went to 9.401 this morning and the 2D travel direction at the top option is back

Not really relevant to the OP though... the XL2 is a very different beast.
