|
|
Hi, I'm a little new to PDAs and GPS. I'm using a HP IPAQ 2210 running Ver 1.1 with TT3 3.01. My bluetooth reciever is the BT GPS unit. My problem is that when I use TT3 the first time I have no bluetooth connection issues, it work very well. The next time I use TT which requires making a new bluetooth connection , the only way I can re-connect is to carry out a hard re-set. I tried the TT updates 3.02, but they caused my bluetooth connection to be very unreliable, so I reloaded my 1st version which works ok. Any advise appreciated? |

What you are doing is a soft-reset. It it were a hard reset then all your programs and data would be gone
Try using an older GPS driver. version 2.07 (from our downloads page) is very reliable. _________________ Lutz

Can you run GPS 2.07 with bluetooth?
If you can, does anyone have any experience to suggest that this cures (or at least reduces) the BT lock ups experienced with TT3? |

Yes, you can run 2.07 with BlueTooth. Make sure to set it to the generic entries ""38400 NMEA"" and ""BlueTooth Serial COM8"" (or similiar) rather than any of the fancy ""TomTom BlueTooth"" entries. _________________ Lutz
