Can someone please help. I have an iPAQ 2210 and a wired Holux GM210 receiver. I upgraded to TTN3 about a month ago, and at the same time installed version 3.01 driver. It all worked flawlessly.
Today I had to do a hard reset, so I reinstalled TomTom and the 3.01 GPS driver as before, but although I don't use Bluetooth, it seems to have taken over. Every time I open TTN Bluetooth also starts up and I get a screen saying Select a Bluetooth device. If I go to settings and shut it down I try setting the GPS connection. I can set Holux GM210, but the Com Port is greyed out (it should be Com 1). Then, as soon as I try to do anything with TomTom, Bluetooth starts up again ........
I tried removing the software and reinstalling, but the same every time
I'm getting desperate!

It could be the infamous TomTom Bluetooth driver causing problems.
Start Menu, Settings, System tab, Remove Programs, tap on TomTom ~ GPS and tap Remove. Press OK, and the Pocket PC will soft reset.
This first removal just removes the Bluetooth driver, not the GPS application (you need to repeat the instructions to do that) - which should hopefully solve the problem.

Thanks for your reply David. Well, when removing TomTom, I thought that was what I had done. There were 4 TomTom related programs visible when I was removing programs, including the GPS driver, and I removed them all. But the problem returned as soon as I reinstalled TomTom plus 3.01.
Anyway, I stayed up late last night and went through the whole install/uninstall process 4 times. The last time, when I went to GPS settings I was able to access both boxes, so I quickly entered Holux GM210 and Com 1 and ticked the box.
Now, as far as I can tell, it's all working properly again. I haven't road tested it yet, but I'm able to plan journeys and CheckPOInt and UK Postcodes work with it. Quite mystifying!
