|
|
On the 9th of this month I received an email saying:
Dear Tibor,
Bring your device right up to date: your new map (Map of Western and Central Europe) is available to download now through Map Update Service in TomTom HOME.
I have connected my card TT Home often since but so far I’ve not been offered any new maps. My current map is 870.
Any thoughts?
Kind regards, _________________ Tibor

You have the latest map so simply ignore the e-mail from TomTom it's little more than spam to be honest - Mike |

Have you indeed paid for a map subscription for that unit? If so, how are you trying to get the map......through Add Voices/maps or by Update my Unit? It should be available via 'Update'.
If you do NOT have a map subscription, then you need to go through Add Voices/Maps and purchase it that way. _________________ David |

Yes, I do have a subscription, invoice date below. I assume I’m well within the time limit. Whatever ways I try to download the map is not listed.

Thanks for all input. If I delete the map folder would I be offered the map again? I do have an explorer backup.

Before you do that, I would contact TT customer services on 0845 161 0009, and ask them to assign the v875 maps to your account. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

All done! Had to delete/rename the Download folder on PC, delete the map folder form unit and PC then I was offered 875.
Thanks for all your replies.
