USA Map on SD for GO750

When looking at the TT website it seems that I can't get a USA Map on SD card for the GO750. Or am I wrong? If so what one do I get?

Do you specifically want to BUY a map on an SD card, or do you just want to INSTALL a map on an SD card?

I can't see a US map on SD card on the UK TomTom website, but even when you look at this:

..... for some bizarre reason, none of the Go x50 models are shown as compatible! I've got no idea why this is, I suspect it's a mistake, as there's no reason at all why you can't run maps from a micro-SD card on that model.

I'll see if I can get an answer from TT about why the Go x50 models are missing from the list.

You'll also note that Europe map is not even the latest version! (we are currently on v875 maps)

But there is no reason why you can't buy your own micro-SD card and buy a downloadable map? It will be cheaper and more up-to-date.

Make sure you buy a good quality SCHC micro-SD card, 4GB minimum size and Class 6 minimum speed rating.

You may also have heard about TomTom producing "map zones" for the Europe maps as the full map won't fit on the internal memory. I don't think the same is the case for the US yet, but just in case, here is a guide to make sure you are offered the FULL map for your SD card.

P.S. - I see you got a useless answer on TT Discussions. They didn't mention ready-made maps on SD card at all! Rolling Eyes
