Hi
First post so please be gentle
I`m just trying to set up a H2210 with TomTom 3 wired GPS.
I`ve loaded all the software and maps but i can`t get the GPS receiver to give a signal.
All that the display is showing is "GPS Disabled" the green light is flashing on the receiver and occasionally it stays on for about 1-2 seconds then carries on flashing, Its been doing this for well over an hour.
Do i have to do anything else to activate the GPS receiver or is it something else i`m not doing ?
Thanks for your time
Cheers, Carl _________________ The names Bueller, Ferris Bueller !! |

Try moving the GPS Receiver outside of the car and see if the green light stays on contsant. You may have a UV coated windscreen.
Also make sure that when you tap the Navigator screen, go into the GPS screen on the SETUP tab that you have TomTom Navigator GPS selected with COM1. |

Hi Dave
Thanks for the welcome and reply.
I will try moving the GPS receiver tomorrow as i`ve put the car in the garage for tonight
It won`t let me into the GPS screen at the moment as when i try a box pops up saying "Unable to launch GPS control pad" ? I guess thats due to the "GPS disabled" message ?

I have the same setup and it worked straight out of the box.
I've not bothered with the car mounting kit yet - I just stuff it all in the junk compartment behind the handbrake and get a good signal from it.

Thanks for the replies, I`ll try again tonight.
Another question, When you install the software on your PDA did it install a launch bar on the main/front page ?
