I am new to here and have an in car radio/DVD/GPS which is working on Route 66 v7, and was wondering if i could just change the maps on the SD card for maps from v8. I am not an expert so plain language please in the replies. |

No you can't just update the maps on there own the new maps come with a complete new version of software that is no where near as capable as the version you have got.
I put Sygic/ McGuider on my double DIN unit rather than try to update the Route 66 the unit was supplied with - Mike |

Downloading a copy of Sygic/McGuider 7.70 now, any tips on installing.I will be putting it onto a 2gb SD card and running it off that. |
